The Washington Science Policy Network invites candidates from the 5th Congressional District to join members of the community and local scientists to a dialogue about how to keep Eastern Washington healthy. We’ll hear about science-informed solutions to problems like the opioid crisis, meeting rural healthcare needs, and mitigating the health impacts of a changing climate. We welcome residents of the district to come to learn about science and hear from your candidates. We’ve invited both candidates for the 5th District race: Cathy McMorris Rodgers and Lisa Brown, and you’ll be hearing from state legislative candidates from both parties.
